Coffee Jelly Salad Made Easy with Mr. Hat Gulaman Coffee

Since I become a stay-at-home Mom, I always make sure to learn and try new dessert recipe every week.

This week, I learned how to make Coffee Jelly Salad.

Making Coffee Jelly Salad is easy. All you need to do is make a coffee jelly and tapioca, slice some mangoes and add them to a cream mixture.

Before, making coffee jelly requires a lot of preparation but with Mr. Hat Gulaman Coffee you don’t need to make and add instant coffee on your salad, just open a sachet follow the instructions on how to make Mr. Hat Gulaman Coffee and in a few minutes you have a coffee flavored jelly.

Preparing Coffee Jelly Salad would take around an hour but it may be less if you have cooked tapioca already.

INGREDIENTS

For the Jelly or Gulaman

1 sachet Mr. Hat Gulaman Coffee

6 cups of water

1 cup milk (optional)

1 tablespoon white sugar (optional)

For Sago or Tapioca

3/4 cups small sago

4 cups of water

For cream mixture

1 can condensed milk

1 can all purpose cream

2 cups sliced ripe mango (optional)

1tsp instant coffee (optional)

1 tbs water (optional)

DIRECTION

For the Gulaman or Jelly

1. Pour 6 cups of water on pot.

2. Open a sachet of MR. HAT GULAMAN COFFEE and slowly drizzle it on the pot.

3. Add a cup of evaporated milk and a tablespoon of white sugar.

4. Mix until dissolve.

5. On medium heat, stir the mixture until it boils.

6. Slowly pour on a tray and set aside until firm.

7. Cut the gulaman based on your desired size, then set aside.

For Sago or Tapioca

1. On medium heat, pour 4 cups of water on a pot and wait for it to boil.

2. Put the sago on the pot

3. Cook for 20 minute. Stir every 5 minutes.

4.After 20 minutes, close the stove and pot. Let the sago rest for 10 minutes.

5. Drain the sago, wash with cold water and set aside

For cream mixture

1. Put a can of condensed milk in the mixing bowl.

2. Add a can of all purpose cream.

3. Mix until smooth then set aside.

For the Coffee Jelly Salad

1. Add gulaman, sago and mangoes in the cream mixture. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated, then set aside.

2. On a glass, add a tablespoon of water and mix it with a teaspoon of instant coffee.

3. Add the coffee mixture to the Coffee Jelly Salad and mix.

4. Cover and chill This recipe is easy to make and is good for 5 to 6 person.

5. Enjoy.

  1. This looks soooo good! I love mangoes and coffee jelly so this is a sure winner in my books! Everyday ingredients din so it’s an easy recipe to follow. I used to think gulaman had only two flavors or something pero meron din palang coffee! Ma-try nga this weekend.

  5. I’ll try this version using coffee jelly. I always used tapioca, mango and sago as our dessert. Of course, we never forget yung cream and milk, naku ubos agad sa mga kids.. this will be another version. Thanks for this.
